About me.​



I am a local artist in Verbena, Alabama that studied in junior high under the tutelage of Jim Gunter. While in Junior High, I won 1st place in the state and nation for a linoleum cut print. I attended the Center for Performing Arts Center (CPAC) in Montgomery, Alabama as a fine artist before moving to Maryland. During half my life spent in Maryland, I mainly produced fine pencil portraits for family and for commission. The latter part of my life has been in the quiet isolated wooded retreat of Verbena Alabama where I currently reside. I've developed an interesting technique where I make a wooden box with floating lettering which can be seen in the gallery section of my site.

My works have brought great joy to recipients of both family and friends, and I do hope I can help bring joy into your life via a piece of commissioned work.
